Common questions

What are AI credits?
Credits measure the AI work done for you. Building a board and changing it through the chat use credits, and a bigger job uses more: in our tests on real requests, a typical board took about 1 to 3 credits with Fortza and about 5 to 20 with Fortza Ultra, and a change through the chat usually takes less than a new board. Routing, design-rule checks, exports, imports, viewing, the footprint finder and pin-map research never use credits. Every plan includes credits each month; the number is listed with each plan.
What happens when my credits run out?
AI work that needs credits waits until your credits come back at the start of your next period. You can buy extra credits when a top-up is listed on this page, or move to a plan with more. A build that has started always finishes. Editing by hand, routing, checks, exports, the footprint finder and pin-map research keep working.
How do I cancel?
In Profile, Plan and billing, press Cancel subscription and confirm. There are no questions to answer and no cancellation charge. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed; after that the account is on the free plan.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy. Outside India, Paddle.com handles refunds as the merchant of record.
Who can get the student price?
Students with a college e-mail address or a student ID. Check once in Profile, Plan and billing: a college address is confirmed at once with a code sent to it, and an ID is checked by a person. The check lasts 12 months, then you check again.
Do prices include tax?
In India, prices are in rupees and the amount shown is the amount you pay. Elsewhere, prices are shown before tax: any sales tax or VAT for your country is added in the payment window, where you see the full amount before you pay.
Who handles the payment?
In India, Cashfree Payments. Elsewhere, Paddle.com sells the subscription as our reseller and merchant of record, and handles the payment, tax and invoice.
