Start with what it must do.
Describe the purpose and constraints of your board. AI helps turn that intent into parts and connections you can question and change.
ABOUT PCBEDITOR
We're building PCBEditor to shorten the distance from an idea to a board you can actually inspect. AI helps with the work; the circuit, geometry and decisions stay in your hands.
01 / OUR APPROACH
Design is more than generation. Each step should leave something concrete you can understand, edit and check.
Describe the purpose and constraints of your board. AI helps turn that intent into parts and connections you can question and change.
Move between schematic and PCB. Inspect footprints, placement, outline and copper as editable engineering data, not a picture of a board.
Review connections, design-rule findings and exports. A clean-looking board is not proof that its parts, power or intended behavior are correct.
A generated board is a starting point for review, not a claim that the hardware will work. Parts need evidence. Connections need scrutiny. Physical layout needs checks. We want PCBEditor to make uncertainty visible so you know what to verify before fabrication.
03 / WHY WE BUILD
Too many hardware ideas stop between the first sketch and a board someone can review. Researching parts, drawing a circuit, placing components and routing copper often happen in disconnected tools, with the reasoning lost between them.
PCBEditor brings those steps into one workspace. It uses AI to help you move faster without making the output untouchable: you can inspect it, change it and take it into other engineering tools. That is the product we are working toward—not an image that merely looks finished.
04 / KEEP IN TOUCH
Follow the work, tell us where the workflow falls short, and help shape what PCBEditor becomes.
